One story that caught our eye this week was one from the Lenox Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.  Environmental project manager, Scot Hopps and his team have developed a number of clever and innovative ways to champion sustainable living for hotel guests throughout the duration of their stay.  Hopps told The Boston Globe that although “green is definitely the term du jour, what we are doing is more about sustainability and a long-term scope.”  As well as including a hypoallergenic floor throughout the hotel, the Lenox also uses hybrid vehicles, has filtered refill water stations to avoid plastic water bottle waste, and installs LED light bulbs throughout the hotel.
