It has been an incredible week at The Refinishing Touch—after 35 years of commitment to the hospitality, government, and higher education industries, it was announced yesterday that we are expanding our environmentally safe and sustainable furniture refinishing, re-upholstering and armoire modification operations to Canada!  Beginning immediately, The Refinishing Touch Canada will open administrative offices in Toronto, making it the first international and administrative division.

Although The Refinishing Touch has completed international projects around the world, Canada was the natural progression for international expansion.  In addition to Canada’s rapidly growing tourism market and nearly 10,000 hotels and 270,000 rooms across the nation, we both share a commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. The expansion has, in this very short time, already proved successful, as we have secured refinishing contracts with several top Canadian hotels.

As we are clearly excited about our expanding operations, it’s great to see the local and hospitality communities also picking up the exciting news. Shortly after the announcement, we received multiple pieces of coverage, including a great piece from the Atlanta Business Chronicle

We cannot wait to see where this expansion takes us and are excited to further spread our message about the importance of budget-saving and environmentally-friendly refinishing tactics.
