As a long-standing provider of furniture asset management services to government edifices across the US, The Refinishing Touch actively contributes to the GSA Interact community – an open community for connecting, communicating, learning and engaging across topics related to the US General Services Administration.
Recently, it was announced that a new procurement ombudsman was hired to improve communication between the GSA and its vendors. Jeff Koses, GSA’s senior procurement executive, and Tom Sharpe, FAS commissioner, have gone on record citing several areas the administration needs to address in order to improve customer relations.
As a GSA-certified contractor for on-site furniture supply and assets maintenance (Contract Number: GS-29F-0002M), we see tremendous value in Millisa’s role and look forward to engaging with the administration in new and different ways. When it comes to renovating government edifices, millions of taxpayer dollars can be saved by opting for refinishing, remanufacturing and reupholstery services rather than replacing assets.
